Helen's Olympic Diary
As Helen prepares for the 2012 Olympics she will keep an ongoing diary to keep us informed of her progress towards her ultimate aims. Please check back here regularly for updates.
Up to Sept 2008
"To bring you up to date with my activities, I returned from the US Olympic training camp (invitee) in July 2008 where I trained with the Olympic Champion, Mariel Zagunis, who went on to retain her Gold medal in Beijing and was the first US medallist on the opening day. This is now the third time I have trained with Mariel in Portland, Oregon and hopefully not the last. September marks the start of the domestic season I have edged into GB ranking 4th place. This will initially be a challenge to maintain but it’s a really positive start to the season!"
